What is the cost and do you offer financing?
We utilize the latest and most advanced equipment. We charge considerably less than standard industry pricing which is typically between $750 to $1500 for a QEEG brain mapping assessment and $120 to $270 for neurofeedback sessions. We have made every effort to keep our services affordably priced. We also offer 3rd party 15-month no-interest financing and discounted packages to make our services accessible to everyone. Is this covered by HSA or FSA?
Good news! If you have a health savings account (HSA) or flexible savings account (FSA) designed to pay for health-related expenses not covered by insurance, you may be able to use it toward neurofeedback/biofeedback and save money. Contact your provider directly for more info. Regardless of coverage, payment is due at the time of service.
We also offer discounted packages and 15-month no-interest financing to help offset the out-of-pocket cost. Click here to apply for financing.
Do You Accept Insurance?
Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance at this time. We do offer discounted packages and 15-month no-interest financing to help offset the out-of-pocket cost. Click here to apply for financing.
We are also happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Some insurance plans will cover neurofeedback within certain parameters. It can be difficult, but it is possible to be reimbursed.
Reimbursement to the client varies by insurance company and plan. Check with your insurance provider directly for details. Regardless of insurance reimbursement, payment is due at the time of service.

What are the insurance CPT codes?
When contacting your insurance provider, make sure you understand what your insurance policy will cover, and for which diagnoses. You can ask your insurance carrier for coverage of certain CPT (Current Procedure Terminology) codes.
QEEG (BRAIN MAP): 95816, 95957, and 96132
95816 refers to the qEEG recording, 95957 refers to the digital analysis of the recording (eliminating artifact and comparing to the database), and 96132 refers to the evaluation of the recording and accompanying report by the provider.
BIOFEEDBACK AND NEUROFEEDBACK: 90901
90901 is used for psychological disorders, such as: Anxiety, Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Attention Deficit Disorder.
What if my insurance will reimburse me?
If you are told that neurofeedback is covered, be certain to document the name of the insurance representative with whom you spoke and the date and time of your conversation. What is a QEEG Brain Mapping?
A Quantitative Electroencephalogram (QEEG) is a state-of-the-art brain mapping tool that provides valuable insights into your brain’s functioning. It’s a non-invasive, painless, and highly informative assessment. Our assessment includes expert analysis by a certified neurofeedback specialist, a tailored neurofeedback training plan, and your 1st neurofeedback brain training session.
How many sessions will I need?
Since everyone’s brains function differently, it depends on the qEEG and how quickly your brain responds to neurofeedback. We typically recommend a minimum of 20 sessions, but often clients have long-lasting changes after 40 sessions.
How many times a week do I come in?
Neurofeedback requires consistent commitment, ideally involving sessions 2-3 times per week. Our recommended frequency serves the purpose of training and reinforcing new neural pathways. This approach aims to solidify these pathways, allowing positive connections to strengthen and negative neural associations to be broken.
How long are the sessions typically?
A session lasts between a half-hour and an hour. We can start neurofeedback sessions at 20 minutes and then work up to 40 minutes.
Is it going to hurt, will I feel anything?
There is no pain involved in neurofeedback. The sensors are non-stimulating and only read your brainwave activity.
How will I know if it's working?
The speed at which clients experience results can vary. While some may notice improvements in as few as 4 sessions, others might require 14 sessions or more before observing changes. For instance, a mother seeking neurofeedback for her child may perceive changes before the child feels any difference. Similarly, family members frequently report observing positive changes in their loved ones before clients notice these differences.
What is the minimum age requirement?
We typically like children to be at least four years old. However, if you have a child younger than this, please call, and we can discuss if neurofeedback is a good fit.
Are there research studies?
There are government-funded websites that will show research on neurofeedback brain training. Here is a very beneficial one. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
How long do the effects last?
Research consistently indicates that clients maintain their improvements from neurofeedback training for a long time, even up to 20 years. Several research studies have demonstrated that additional gains are even made after treatment is finished.
